Artist/Illustrator/Graphic Designer

I’m a student in Oulu university who has drawn and painted since I was a kid. Making art, illustrations and graphic design is a way I express myself and how I feel about the world. I love all things nature, sustainability, history, culture, music, true crime, animals and especially cats. At the moment I work part time as a personal assistant at Mehiläinen.

My paintings are usually portraits, mainly women because I feel like I connect with that subject more. Though I do paint anything that I find interesting in the world, from Marvel series to actors and animals.

I’m very good at changing styles when the topic needs it and my skill set is versatile. I love to paint and draw for my family and friends. My parents house is full of my works and I like to give my art as a gift to people. I’ve done some commissions too and if you feel like my style is something you would like to have on your wall, please do message me.

In my free time I like to listen to music, go to gigs/festivals, read, collect too many books (some might call it hoarding), watch movies/series and talk about them to everyone who will listen. Hobbies that are closest to my heart though are making stuff with my hands. Like crocheting, knitting, ceramics and sewing which is my newest hobby. If only my old textile arts teacher could see me now and how far I’ve gone from the days, when I couldn’t even finish knitting a single mitten, or when I sewed pants that were too tight even for an elf.
